PLOT
What Ever Happened To The Class Of '56?
Although Caroline is reluctant to leave the children and
accompany Charles to a farmers convention in Milwaukee, she has a
change of heart when she learns that their 25th school reunion
will be taking place in the same area. This special visit with
old friends turns out to be disastrous, however, when Charles and
Caroline discover that their former classmates--many of whom have
become very wealthy--are not the same pleasant people they used
to be. Meanwhile, Charles fights to make his voice heard by some
larger farming establishments at the convention, and by the time
their vacation is over, both husband and wife are grateful to
return to their humble lifestyles, the children they love, and
the loving town of Walnut Grove.
