PLOT
Darkness Is My Friend
On a dark and stormy night, Laura is sleeping over at the blind
school and spending some quality time with Mary. Their pleasant
and nostalgic visit is cut short, however, when they
unintentionally open the door for a trio of escaped convicts.
Armed and prepared to attack, two of the men--whose friend is
severely injured--order Laura to get a doctor. Terrified, she
runs instead for her father, who returns to the blind school with
her and poses as Doctor Heiram Baker. Matters are worsened when
the convicts discover the truth, and Charles' resourcefulness is
heavily exercised as he seeks to disarm these criminals.
