PLOT
Based on the novels by W.J. Burley and set against the
magnificent and windswept Cornish coast, this acclaimed series
follows the exploits of the extremely meticulous and very clever
Detective Superintendent Wycliffe.
Far from being idyllic, Cornwall is alive with serious crime and
Wycliffe (Jack Shepherd) leads an investigative team charged with
solving each intriguing mystery. Series Two becomes a race
against time as the team attempt to solve the most baffling
crimes yet. Bodies washed ashore, a suspect on the run and a
suspicious kidnapping are just a few of the obstacles Wycliffe
and the team must face.
EPISODE SUMMARY
Season 2, Episode 2: The Trojan Horse
Alex Keir is distraught when his wife Alison goes missing, but
Wycliffe is sceptical of his grief, until a ransome note is
found. The case of apparent kidnapping then takes a dramatic turn
when Mrs Keir is found dead and smelling of alcohol at the wheel
of a crashed car.
