PLOT
For six years, Australian audiences immersed themselves in the
shadowy and volatile world of undercover police work in the
multi-award winning series, Stingers. With a cast that
featured Peter Phelps, Gary Sweet and Kate Kendall, Stingers
portrayed police work like no other Australian-produced
television: gritty, full of action and based on the real-life
experiences of undercover police. In the eighth and final
season, Angie faces personal tragedy, Harris battles drug
addiction and in a shocking turn of events, the unit is left
wondering if Church still has what it takes to play in the
undercover game.
EPISODE SUMMARY
Season 8, Episode 12: The Complete Package
While investigating a major coke ring, Church is stunned to
learn that his primary target Ethan Stein, is married to his
old flame Anna Trukan. In private with Church, Anna claims she
knows nothing of drugs and that her husband is a legitimate
businessman, but her words are later proven false when she's
busted trying to bribe a customs official. Church turns up the
pressure on Anna, demanding the details on Stein's next
shipment of coke. Anna agrees to cooperate, but when she meets
Church to hand over the information, Stein arrives, armed and
ready to kill. To Church's disbelief, it appears that Anna has
set him up.
