PLOT

The longest  continually running  police drama  is back  with the
next ten  gripping instalments  to the  Taggart series.  Spanning
between 1998-2000,  these episodes  saw the  detectives encounter
grisly serial killers,  the seedy world  of the escort  industry,
the dangerous  nature of  criminal protection  and a  murder case

EPISODE SUMMARY

16x01: Long Time Dead

Jardine and Reid find  themselves embroiled in a  disturbing case
that leads them  to the dark  underbelly of human  nature. At the
Crawford Hotel the  annual Strathclyde CID  Dinner is being  held
and as  the party  gets into  full swing,  the body  of the hotel
owner is found  strangled and dumped  in the rubbish.  Before the
police can even question the main suspect, his body is also found
murdered.   Once  again,  Jardine  becomes  convinced  that   his
girlfriend is the one they're searching for.
