ABOUT THE SHOW
Bramwell is a drama series about a woman doctor in late-Victorian
London, and her struggle to gain acceptance in a virtually all-male
profession.
The series was shown in Britain on ITV from 1995 and was subsequently
shown in the US on PBS from 1996 to 2000.
EPISODE SUMMARY
On a carnival outing, Eleanor discovers Rose, a tragically deformed
woman billed as "the Biggest Brain on Earth." Eleanor offers to make
her normal with a simple operation, but then the surgery goes
disastrously awry.
