Rippers notes
So 25fps from an NTSC, huh? Guess that needs some more
explanations. The mastering of this DVD is a terrible
mess and we encountered a hell of a lot of lovely
blended fields. The total amount of proper pictures per
second was closest to 25 (don't ask me what perverse
mutilations of an originally NTSC series made it end up
like this) and so we restored this framerate after
deblending. We added a vob sample (check S01E01 sample
dir) so you can see for yourselves. This goes for the
blends aswell as for those parts where the video gets
squeezed and unsqueezed several times for no apparent
(of course) reason. Further more there are occasional
glitches on src (check vob sample on S01E15 sample dir)
and no, it's not a beatup dvd but a new & shrinked one.
