The Real Ghostbusters is a continuation of the 1984 action/comedy
"Ghostbusters". The four Ghostbusters, Dr. Peter Venkman, Dr. Ray
Stantz, Dr. Egon Spengler and Winston Zeddemore, fight forces
bordering on the supernatural. Helping them out later on would be
secretary Janine Melnitz, and nerdy Central Park West resident
Louis Tully, Even the green ghost named Slimer, which was caught
at the Sedgewick Hotel in the first movie, would be on hand to
help. The series spawned something of a spin-off, "Slimer and
the Real Ghostbusters," halfway through its run.
