Flesh Wounds
Jocelyn gets a dragon tattoo, which liberates her; she and Michael
have incredible sex before she takes off for a spa weekend with
her mother, Olivia. Luther and his date, Inul, dine with Pemmie
and her husband, Zane. Luther and the two women play footsie
throughout the meal. Michael goes on a ride-along with Liz and
Preston, who end up in pursuit of drug-dealer Lindell. Liz is shot
and wounded. She recovers on Vic's yacht, where Michael tends to
her while working on a licensing agreement for Arthur's lover,
married restaurateur Mirella Brenetti. Liz decides to finish
recuperating at home, but not before she meets Vic, who stops by
the yacht while Michael is in the office. Vic likes Liz, and can
understand the intense attraction she holds for Michael.
That night, at her bungalow, Liz wakes in intense pain, but tries
to hide it while she searches for her pain pills.
Michael locates her lost pain pills and Liz drifts off peacefully.
