PLOT SUMMARY
Crime doesn't pay, but it sure does stink
Assy is a hardboiled cop with a bad attitude and an itchy trigger
finger. Hes reckless, violent and has been known to break the law
or shoot someone to keep the investigation going. But he also is
a great cop, able to get his man one way or another.
Working alongside Assy is his partner, Det. Don Sanchez. A good cop
and loyal partner, hes the closest thing Assy has to a friend. While
Assy is a hard-drinking loner, Sanchez is a family man. Sanchez has
been shot several times in the line of duty, always by Assy. Its no
wonder Sanchez loving wife Brenda worries about him.
When youre a cop, like Assy, fighting crime is not the only thing you
need to worry about. First, theres The Chief, who always seems to be
on Assys case. Hes asked for Assys badge and gun more than once. And
The Chief is always worried about The Mayor, who is trying to get
re-elected and does not need Assy McGee messing things up for
him.
