PLOT
John Thaw (Inspector Morse, The Sweeney) stars as Kavanagh Q.C.,
one of the most respected criminal law barristers in London.
Despite a northern working class background, James Kavanagh has

work and a true love of the law. His brilliance shines through in

EPISODE SUMMARY
Season 2, Ep 1: True Committment
The daughter of a rich Jewish business man and her boyfriend,
Mark, plan to murder a member of a neo-Nazi organization. They
kill a seventeen-year-old skinhead at a demonstration, but when
Mark is arrested, he claims the killing was an accident.
Meanwhile, the Kavanaghs' home life is disrupted by the news that
Kate, an undergraduate at Cambridge, is having an affair with her
married tutor.
