PLOT
Set against the stunning vistas of the Alberta Rocky
Mountains, Heartland is a sprawling family drama that follows
sisters Amy and Lou Fleming and their grandfather, Jack,
through the highs and lows of life on a horse ranch.
In Season Four, people drift back to Heartland, craving the
familiarity of home and family only to discover that
everything seems to have changed. After the blush of first
love in Season Three, Ty and Amy's relationship may blossom
and mature, but only if they face up to a misunderstanding
about what happened while they were apart. Lou is torn between
her new life in Dubai and home. She's still madly in love with
Peter but Dubai is not an easy place to live and she's
intensely homesick. Tim will return with substantial winnings
and a new love interest. As always, Jack remains the rock of
Heartland, tirelessly keeping the family together through
thick and thin.
EPISODE SUMMARY
Season 4, Episode 7 - Jackpot!
Caleb turns to his old friend Kit to partner with him so they
can win the prize money in a team roping jackpot. This sets in
motion a series of strange events, which results in some
unusual team pairings. Tim is concerned that Lightning Dexter
is starting to cost him a lot of money but is not able to
race. When the opportunity comes up to possibly sell the
recuperating horse, he plots a way to get the maximum amount
of cash. Jack finds himself in a bidding 'war' with Lisa
against her ex-husband Dan. Mallory and Badger's relationship
starts to heat up again, but Mallory wonders if she's picked
the right guy when she watches Jake and Jamie.
