PLOT
In this delightfully surreal BBC comedy Brian Hook is an
archetypal dad blissfully unaware of how easily he can drive
his middle-aged son Alan to distraction and frustration. Alan
in turn desperately wants to be a cool dad and communicate
with his own teenage son determined that he doesn't suffer the
same childhood embarrassments. Inevitably Alan tries too hard
and his attempts to communicate often end in disaster.

In the middle of a crimewave which sees grown men robbed and
tied up with parcel tape by a local gang, Brian gets a job as
