Notes........: John McLaughlin, one of the most innovative guitarists of the last 40 years,
leads the Mahavishnu Orchestra in two very different performances from Montreux.
The 1974 performance has a much edgier feel and is definitely at the rock end of
fusion whilst the 1984 concert shows a more sophisticated and rather more polished
side of the group, although they remains as adventurous and challenging as ever.
