PLOT
Set in the vast desolate Australian Outback, its scope
reflects a terrain as famous for its wealth as its severity.
Those who dwell within this forbidding landscape would rather
be there than anywhere. They are the last of the pioneers. It
is for these people that the Flying Doctors take to the skies.
EPISODE SUMMARY
Episode 1.06: Is Nothing Sacred?
A woman known for her black activist politics arrives in town
and rumours spread about her motives for being there. She
becomes involved with a patient of Tom's who she believes is
concealing the whereabouts of a sacred site. After initial
conflict, Tom and the woman are drawn together as both are
under huge pressure and it becomes obvious to all there is a
mutual attraction.
