Oh look IMMERSE is slandering us again. There is no rule prohibiting
segmenting 720. Infact, their tools do a hyper-segmenting which is
what caused that awful IVTC before they "fixed" it.
Even though we didn't sign the CRF ruleset, part of the advantage of that
was that regardless of segmenting or not, the content got the approriate
bitrate it required. The only difference between a segmented CRF and a non
segmented one (again, IMMERSE are segmented, just differently) is that the
size could be ever so slightly inflated due to the placement of B-FRAMES.
As an aside, if you are gonna slander us, just do it to our face, you know
where we are. It's really mature to attack us in NFOs for pres, we might not
even read. Normally we won't respond, but this is getting really petty. This
isn't preschool.
