PLOT
Twelve and 3/4-year-old Lockie Leonard is a surf rat and when
his family move to the most remote town on Earth, Angelus,
Lockie's convinced that this is a total disaster no friends,
a new school and a house that is truly in danger of
disappearing into a swamp. But then Lockie spots the one thing
that makes it all okay. This weird little town has the best
surf he has ever seen. Based upon the novels by Western
Australian, Booker nominated author, Tim Winton. Filmed on the
West Australian coast in the town of Albany.
EPISODE SUMMARY
Episode 2.19: Aliens in Angelus
As Sarge says, we're all aliens. it's just a matter of
geography. Lockie's beginning to suspect Mel might be a bit of
one. Her birthday's coming up and she's not having a party. In
fact, she's never had a party - or even held a video store
membership. Lockie formulates a secret plan to bring Ailen Mel
back home to Angelus, where she belongs. After hearing strange
voices on the radio, who seem to be asking for their
assistance, Phillip and Joe are certain Angelus has a stranded
alien on its hands. As the investigation wears on, the tension
between the two dissipates, and Phillip discovers he may have
found something in Joe that's even more important than an
alien discovery. Meanwhile, Mum's radio show is failing to set
the airwaves on fire, leading Mum to wonder if there's anyone
out there.
