Coverage of the opening semi-final at the Donbass Arena in Donetsk,
Ukraine. The Portuguese have won their last three matches after
losing their opener to Germany, with Denmark, the Netherlands and
Czech Republic the vanquished opponents. Cristiano Ronaldo has been
a key figure throughout the tournament, scoring twice against the
Dutch as his side came from behind, and netting the winner in the
quarter-final against the Czechs. Defending champions Spain may be
at a slight physical disadvantage having had two days less to
recuperate from their 2-0 last- eight victory over France, but they
could well hold a psychological edge with that contest having taken
place in this very arena, while Portugal are playing here for the
