PLOT
Grounded in realism, tackling all the big issues such as sex,
drugs, racism, crime and growing up, Heartbreak High pulls no
punches, placing students Nick, Jodie, Con, Danni, Steve,
Rivers and friends in a day-to-day cultural melting pot.
In Series 2 Steve's tireless search for his birth mother pays
off, Rivers shares a passion and takes more than a passing
interest in new teacher Sam, the school basketball team looks
for inspiration and gets it in Vic, two shocking deaths rock
the school community to its core and Rose goes into labour in
the science lab.
EPISODE SUMMARY
Episode 2.02
After a thrashing from Rivers' team in a pick up game, the
guys decide it's time to improve the school basketball team
and set out to convince a reluctant Vic to be their coach.
Convincing Rivers to join the team isn't quite as hard. Matt's
friends have questions for him, and demands, after Southgate
reveals he is Deloraine's nephew. Danielle arranges for Rose
and Jack to have an evening to themselves and gets Lucy, Con,
and Steve to help babysit Tess. Con is recruited into Danielle
and Lucy's plan to seduce Steve.
