PLOT
Grounded in realism, tackling all the big issues such as sex,
drugs, racism, crime and growing up, Heartbreak High pulls no
punches, placing students Nick, Jodie, Con, Danni, Steve,
Rivers and friends in a day-to-day cultural melting pot.
In Series 2 Steve's tireless search for his birth mother pays
off, Rivers shares a passion and takes more than a passing
interest in new teacher Sam, the school basketball team looks
for inspiration and gets it in Vic, two shocking deaths rock
the school community to its core and Rose goes into labour in
the science lab.

Rose agrees to marry Jack but matters are quickly complicated
by a second proposal, this one from Con. Con's parents decide
the best way to discourage their son is to encourage him.
Jodie argues with her half-sister Karen over her involvement
with Matt. Karen poses as Jodie when she goes to see a music
promoter.
