Smithy helps a man who has been slashed with a knife on the Jasmine
Allen estate. Carly Samuels, a young girl whom Smithy has been helping,
gives him a description of the suspect - Eric Benton. Eric is beaten up
by Carly's boyfriend, Marlon Reed - who smugly tells the police that
they have nothing on him. Carly tells Smithy that she's afraid of
Marlon and wants to get out. Beth and Nate have to rescue a young boy
from a car which he has set alight.
