PLOT
Set during the 1960s in the fictional North Yorkshire village
of Aidensfield, this enduring popular series interweaves crime

EPISODE SUMMARY
Season 11, Episode 2: She's Leaving Home
The boy who caused damage to police property runs off with his
16-year old girlfriend,who falls ill after drinking
contaminated water. Vernon eventually persuades Oscar to try a
slot machine in the pub. He says he will pay for the winnings
himself. Vernon does not realise the machine has been fixed by
a friend of Charley Woods, a rival slot machine king, to pay
out every time meaning Oscar enjoys a busy night of trade,
eventually Charley Woods foots the bill.
