PLOT
Set during the 1960s in the fictional North Yorkshire village
of Aidensfield, this enduring popular series interweaves crime

EPISODE SUMMARY
Season 11, Episode 12: Closing the Book
A man dies naturally on the village green and the police finds
robbery plans at his home. Vernon rents horse carriages to
tourists but the horses have a will of their own. Craddock's
wife has turned up in Ashfordly and suggests a divorce.
However, they get back together, he is promoted for an
excellently handled case, and he leaves Ashfordly.
