Christmas Special 2008:

A really good return of the Scottish hero Rab C Nesbitt.

It's been ten years since we last saw Rab. Things have changed
in this time, his son Burney has died in a joy riding incident.
Rab sees himself as responsible and gives up the drink and has
become leader of an alcoholic rehab place. His wife, Mary meanwhile
is considering an affair with an old school friend who has done
quite well for himself, whereas other son Gash has also done
well for himself, he is married and living in a nice house.
Jamesie can't resist but laugh at the changed Rab and tries
to get him drinking again to the point where Rab gives up and
goes back on the beer. This makes him feel he is unfit to be
leader of the rehab clinic and resigns. But then the members
of the rehab clinic insist that Rab comes back as there leader,
as he has helped so many of them.
