Here we see an extraordinary and inventive project in South London.
This house proves that even in the most crowded areas of our cities,
there is potential for Grand Designs.
When Monty Ravenscroft and Clare Loewe began looking for a house to
buy in London they soon realised that the only affordable option was
to build one themselves. They snapped up a dirt cheap slither of land
in Peckham at an auction only to be told it was too small to put a
house on. Undeterred, three years ago, engineering whiz Monty began
building an extraordinary experimental bungalow that filled the site
to bursting point.
RIP NOTES
The way in which this show airs on TV and the way the DVD's are made
and released differ. The "Revisited" episodes aired on TV consist of
35 minutes of footage from the original episode, and 10 minutes for
revisit at the end, while on the DVD, the 10 minute revisit portion is
all that's provided. Due to the fact that revisits can be made years
later, even after DVD release, some revisits may never make it to DVD.
This may be why it takes years for this show to make it to DVD. To
keep consistent these are tagged the same as previous DVDRip releases.
