PLOT
Lying, cheating, thieving, double crossing imposters. They're the
best undercover cops in the business.
In Deep is a gripping drama about two maverick undercover
detectives who are sucked into the underworld of corruption,
paedophilia, gang wars, prostitution and racism. Liam Ketman
(Nick Berry) and Garth O'Hanlon (Stephen Tompkinson) spend their
working lives assuming false identities in order to infiltrate
the underbelly of society. Liam puts his life on the line with
hard-core criminals while trying desperately to hold his marriage
together. Garth, a loner, is determined to keep his personal life
a mystery, even if it means compromising an investigation.
EPISODE SUMMARY
Season 1, Episode 3: Romeo Trap: Part 1
Liam and Garth try to crack a paedophile ring which is operating
through a sophisticated website. Liam befriends the wife of the
webmaster and Garth goes undercover in prison to make contact
with two of the principal players. After winning their
confidence, he discovers that a grisly crime is about to be
committed.
