PLOT
Lying, cheating, thieving, double crossing imposters. They're the
best undercover cops in the business.
In Deep is a gripping drama about two maverick undercover
detectives who are sucked into the underworld of corruption,
paedophilia, gang wars, prostitution and racism. Liam Ketman
(Nick Berry) and Garth O'Hanlon (Stephen Tompkinson) spend their
working lives assuming false identities in order to infiltrate
the underbelly of society. Liam puts his life on the line with
hard-core criminals while trying desperately to hold his marriage
together. Garth, a loner, is determined to keep his personal life
a mystery, even if it means compromising an investigation.
EPISODE SUMMARY
Season 2, Episode 7: Abuse of Trust: Part 3
A woman is found murdered in her flat in almost identical
circumstances to one six months earlier. The victims have one
thing in common they are both members of the same Internet
dating site. Kelly goes undercover and builds up a relationship
online with prime suspect Dark Angel, but her tactics come close
to entrapment. Liam's colourful love life threatens to compromise
the operation when a spurned girlfriend starts to stalk him.
