When their father runs off with a girl who's not much
older than they are, Sophie (Sarah Foret) and Karen
Kerr (Torrey Devitto) drag their newly single mother
(Daphne Zuniga) from New Mexico to New York City, where
they push her to pursue a dream job in fashion. But for
each of the Kerrs, making a home among Manhattan's
beautiful people -- "BPs" for short -- presents a whole
new world of challenges.

When Lynn has the chance to fly to Chicago to run a
fashion show she takes it and leaves Sophie and Karen
alone. While there, Lynn also runs into Julian who
wants to try and resume their romantic relationship.
Meanwhile, Sophie and Karen find themselves lost in
Central Park after a long car chase through the Bronx.
