WAT didn't bother removing hard-telecine and as such only
managed a bitrate of 1.9mbit. We took the time to fix this and
our release has a bitrate of 2.4mbit. 2.8mbit is not possible
with this dvd due to over 3 hours of video and 5.1 audio,
however any release in this situation should be at the highest
possible bitrate, which WAT's simply was not.
Having said that, we decided to leave the commentary in to
match discs 1 and 3, rather than gain a further 4% on the
video bitrate.
JMT released a MULTi version of this, however they incorrectly
encoded it as NTSC material and as such every fifth frame
is a dupe, wasting bitrate and causing jerky playback.
