Plot outline

Californication is the story of Hank Moody, played by David
Duchovny. Hank is a novelist who has recently moved to
Los Angeles, which complicates his relationship with Karen,
his ex-girlfriend, whom he still has feelings for and Becca,
his 12-year-old daughter.

Ripper's notes

Never got so many PMs asking for a proper ever before...
But even if Topaz decided to let you all down combining
a really low video bitrate with no ac3 audio into a
perfect undersize, you can't proper for a sizing decision.
But hey, there's always internals. Checking the NTSC
against the PAL, we found the PAL to be of superior
quality and thus used it as a source. Seems it also has
a couple more pixels on top and bottom as you can see on
the screenshots (check the grave on the bottom left or the
palm tree on the top center). We could have made this 233mb
and give it a decent video bitrate OR use the 5.1 AC3, but
but heck it's an internal and sizing isn't a burden, so
so here you got both.
The result from both the better PAL source and a decent
(ok freaking high) bitrate is a sharper image with slightly
better colors. The huge difference on the trees is probably
also due to us using VAQ that the older Xvid version that
Topaz was using doesn't offer.
