Plot outline
Remember your first day at your new job? Now imagine being
a police officer. "ROOKIES", shot on location in Jefferson
Parish, Louisiana and Tampa, Florida, puts viewers in the
squad car as each rookie heads out on patrol for the first
time. Each week viewers will join the journey as rookies
learn how to patrol the tough city streets with their field
training officer (FTO). These veteran cops teach the
rookies how to survive. Some of these rookies will have
what it takes - and others will be asking themselves if
they can take the heat in one of the toughest jobs in
Ripper's notes
The episodes contain video material from different sources,
huge parts of it are pure NTSC so we did it at 29.976 fps.
We also decided to follow the episode order as found on the
DVDs. This means the full set of 8 Tampa episodes first,
then the 8 Jefferson episodes. Order as pred will *not*
match tvrage episode listings.
Proper notes: So there we went and left the preing for the
next day and got a couple beers instead. Only to wake up
and see someone else was faster. This is where the story
usually ends. Then we see PHASE haven't really understood
the new size rules yet. Ofc undersize is not properable.
Neither is the fucking lazyness to never include subs.
("Fuck you" to all groups who do that from my girlfriend,
she asked me to let people know she hates skipped subs)
Still no proper reason, I'm drifting away... Actually we
were about to internal them when we thought: "Wait, it's
PHASE, let's have a closer look!" And eventhough only a
simple deinterlacing was needed we found some messy shit
in PHASE's releases. We have put screenshots of each ep
in the relevant sample dir to document it for our offspring.
