Synopsis:
Lister mistakenly signs the gang up for the 'Canaries', prisoners
that go into dangerous situations first to ensure it is safe for
the important people. Their first mission is to investigate a
derilect spaceship, and our crew come across a computer called
'Cassandra' who can accurately predict the future. When she predicts
that Rimmer will die when the ship disintegrates, he goes to great
lengths to prevent it from happening.

Ripper notes:
Note that this is the Japanese release of Red Dwarf. The box states that
the "version originally aired on NHK" is on these DVDs; therefore a few
minutes are missing compared to the UK version and the opening credits
are shorter. There are also some frames with Japanese text (such as the
character names) but this doesn't really affect your viewing. Since the
UK/US release dates for this season haven't even been announced yet we
thought it worthwhile to bring these rips to you.

Also yes the frame rate is correct at 29.97 fps since this series was
filmed on video. (check for dupe frames if you are in doubt.)
