Coverage of the Group H World Cup qualifier at the Olympic Stadium
in Kiev, where both teams seek a victory to aid their hopes of
qualification. The two sides go into this match separated by a
single point in the group standings, with England leading the table
and Montenegro level with them on points but having played one game
more, making this clash crucial. The reverse fixture at Wembley
Stadium took place last September, and almost ended in defeat for
England, who had to rely on an 87th-minute Frank Lampard penalty to
salvage a 1-1 draw in a lacklustre performance that also saw Steven
Gerrard sent off for two bookable offences. Commentary by Clive
