Plot outline
Western that aired on NBC for two seasons from 1965-67.
The pilot for the series was actually an episode of the
classic Western The Virginian. The storylines concerned the
adventures of three Texas Rangers stationed in the town of
Laredo, Texas along the Mexican border. Neville Brand,
Peter Brown, and William Smith played Rangers Reese Bennett,
Chad Cooper, and Joe Riley respectively, and Philip Carey
played Captain Edward Parmalee, their commanding officer.
Robert Wolders joined the cast in Season Two as another
Ranger--Erik Hunter.
Ripper's notes
Picture looks a tad overcompressed from the DVD, some
unstable borders. All in all: nothing special.
Was about time for more western, now wasn't it?
