PLOT
The First Lesson In Comedy
When teaching English to mature foreign students it pays to
mind your language to avoid misunderstandings. At least that's
how fresh-faced and eager adult education teacher Jeremy Brown
approaches his work. Faced with a classroom of pupils who'd
give the United Nations a run for their money, his teaching
methods are put to the test!
Under the watchful eye of dragon-like college principal Miss
Courtney, Jeremy has to muster all his diplomatic skills to
referee cultural clashes, calamities and confusion while
struggling to help them pass their exams and hold down his
job. From India to Italy, this motley crew are a hilarious
class act guaranteed to deliver a slice of rich 1970s comedy.
