PLOT
Vulgar, depraved, surreal and wickedly funny, The League of
Gentlemen, Series 2 is a macabre and comic world where the lives
of its inhabitants unfold and interweave to become part of a
developing and rather disturbing soap opera.
Winner of numerous awards including the Golden Rose of Montreux
in 1999, the 1997 Edinburgh Festival Perrier Award, and a BAFTA
in 2000 for Best Comedy, The League of Gentlemen is a collective
of writers and performers including Jeremy Dyson, Mark Gatiss,
Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith.
EPISODE SUMMARY
Season 3, Episode 3: Turn Again Geoff Tipps.
When Geoff is laid off from the plastics factory he is left with
no option but to head to the bright lights of London. Thanks to
an old friend who is running a pub, he manages to land the job of
his dreams - a stand up comedian. Keeping with the showbiz theme,
we get to revisit those marvellous thespians Legz Akimbo. They
are working on their latest morality play, dealing with
disability - Vegetable Soup
