It has long been a Philharmonic tradition at the New Year to present
a program consisting of the lively and at the same time nostalgic
music from the vast repertoire of the Johann Strauss family and its
contemporaries. These concerts not only delight the audiences in the
Musikverein in Vienna, but also enjoy great international popularity
through the world wide television broadcast, which now reaches over
90 countries.

The 74th annual New Year's Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic took
place on January 1, 2014, under the baton of Daniel Barenboim in the
Golden Hall of the Musikverein. This year the concert will be
televised in over 90 countries with 16 cameras in use to capture the
broadcast images. In the year 2014, the 100th anniversary of the
outbreak of World War I will be commemorated. Therefore the Vienna
Philharmonic considered it to be essentially relevant to invite
peace activist Daniel Barenboim for the New Year's Concert 2014 and
to set a corresponding emphasis in the program.

W4F is one of the oldest TV scene groups. We pride ourselves in
releasing a diverse mix of television programming from around the
world ranging from documentaries to sports to reality tv. We release
purely for fun.

We are actively interested in finding individuals who would like to
join the W4F family. We are interested in those who can capture
content from the US, UK, other EU countries, Canada and AU.

Potential recruits will preferably have the ability to receive
digital TV broadcasts and some knowledge of digital capturing such
as HDHomeRun, Ceton, Set-top box (STB) firewire output, Dreambox HD
or similar, HD capable DVB card, etc.

From time to time we are also interested in hearing from site
owners who are interested in affiliating W4F. We are looking for
private links with archives.

W4F has nothing to do with torrents/p2p so don't ask about that!
