With Dr. Venture assumed dead, Hatred sends the
boys to their godparents, but drugs them first.
Dean wakes in Tangier to live with Colonel
Gentleman and Hank finds himself in Boca Raton
with the Action Man, who needs Hank's help to bury
Dr. Entmann, who he accidentally killed in his own
rocking chair. Colonel Gentleman tries to teach
Dean Moroccan customs until an old enemy tries to
start problems. Meanwhile, back on the Venture
Compound, Hatred seeks out Gary to help him
infiltrate the Monarch's base to save Dr. Venture
who is revealed to be alive and well. While the
Monarch thinks of ways to torture Venture, Dr.
Mrs. the Monarch tries to tend to his injuries and
tells him to overact to the Monarch's tortures,
because she knows he cannot do anything to harm
Venture successfully. In Boca, Hank helps the
Action Man seduce fellow retiree Rose by playing
on her fear of rock and roll. Meanwhile, Colonel
Gentleman asks for Dean to watch all of his
episodes of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch to
determine the scenes when Salem is a real cat or a
puppet, much to Dean's annoyance. In the Cocoon,
Gary realizes that all of his possessions have
been left as he last saw, but they got him a "Best
Henchman" T-shirt at the Guild Calamity
Conference. The Monarch begins his tortures, and
Dr. Venture realizes they have no effect, but he
plays it up anyway. While Dean takes down a
dictation from Colonel Gentleman for his
autobiography, they are interrupted by his old
lover Kiki. In Boca, Hank asks the Action Man to
send him back home if he is successful with Rose.
In the Cocoon, another Henchman sees Hatred in
21's old costume and confuses him for the man,
until 21 knocks him out from behind. When Hatred
reacts happily to being saved, Tim Tom overhears
on the henchman's communicator and realizes what
is happening. The Monarch tries to torture Dr.
Venture by drilling into one of the man's teeth,
but his bad breath stops him. After fighting with
Kiki, Colonel Gentleman asks Dean to write a list
of the things he has realized he has done wrong,
mostly involving his loss of interest in living in
Morocco. In the Cocoon, Kevin corners Hatred and
lies to him that 21 is helping the Monarch torture
Dr. Venture. Meanwhile, 21 finds Tim Tom in the
throne room who lies to him, saying Hatred
double-crossed him, but 21 turns the henchmen on
Tim Tom, saying the Pupa Twins are responsible for
the death of 24. The Monarch frees Dr. Venture,
revealing that no one answered his ransom, and
that he has given up torturing him. The Monarch
complains of the Pupa Twins and how Dr. Mrs. the
Monarch will join the Council of Thirteen, while
Dr. Venture airs his problems with J.J. and
Hatred. He leaves, both men dejected. The Action
Man tries his best to convince Rose that he will
change for her, when Hank realizes Rose is Billy
Quizboy's mother. Rose laments that she has not
seen her son in a while, thinking he left home
fearing that she would not approve of his
relationship with Pete White (believing they are
gay partners). As Dr. Venture hitchhikes home,
Hatred drives his hovertank to take revenge on
Gary. While the Monarch looks at the family photo
he found at Venture's, Dr. Mrs. the Monarch
realizes that Venture has escaped, and the Monarch
reveals he has let him free and reveals that the
torture he had planned was emotional, rather than
physical. As they are about to make love, 21 walks
in and rejoins the ranks. However, Hatred, enraged
at the alleged double-cross, fires a missile at
the Cocoon, destroying it and the Monarch's house.
After the destruction, the Monarch, Dr. Mrs. the
Monarch, and 21 move into the Monarch's childhood
home. Colonel Gentleman invites the Action Man and
Rose to move in with him in the States. Hank talks
to Dean to find out what is wrong with him, and
Dean admits that he has learned they are clones,
but this does not upset Hank and he thinks it is
cool, raising Dean's spirits.
