In this two-part series, Billy Connolly undertakes a personal
journey to evaluate and explore the ways in which we deal with
the end of our lives - across all religious, cultural and social
boundaries. With his trademark charisma and curiosity, he
discovers what death means to different communities and the
diverse ways in which it is marked. Billy also looks at some
of the people for whom death is big business, as well as opening
up about his own father's passing and how he himself would like
to be remembered. In the concluding part of the documentary,
Billy continues his very personal but life-affirming journey
with a visit to the premier Jewish memorial in Los Angeles, a
pet graveyard in San Francisco and finally takes a tour around
his own favourite cemetery in his native Glasgow.
