First Contact shines a light on the deep divide between Indigenous
Australians and the rest of the nation by taking six non-Indigenous
people and immersing them into Aboriginal Australia for the first
time.

The group arrives on Elcho Island where around 2,500 Aboriginal
people live in some of the most deprived conditions in the western
world. The six are shocked but in amongst the helplessness, there's
hope. Next in Alice Springs, Ray Martin directs the travellers to
join a night patrol service which helps the drunk and vulnerable.
It's not long before tempers flare. Emotions are then pushed to the
limit as the group meet women struggling with addiction and share
their own life traumas. For one of the six, the journey into
Aboriginal Australia becomes all too much to take  Next stop is the
Pilbara where a very different side of the mining business will be
revealed.

W4F GROUP NEWS

W4F is one of the oldest TV scene groups. We pride ourselves in
releasing a diverse mix of television programming from around the
world ranging from documentaries to sports to reality tv. We release
purely for fun.

We are actively interested in finding individuals who would like to
join the W4F family. We are interested in those who can capture
content from the US, UK, other EU countries, Canada and AU.

Potential recruits will preferably have the ability to receive
digital TV broadcasts and some knowledge of digital capturing such
as HDHomeRun, Ceton, Set-top box (STB) firewire output, Dreambox HD
or similar, HD capable DVB card, etc.

From time to time we are also interested in hearing from site
owners who are interested in affiliating W4F. We are looking for
private links with archives.

W4F has nothing to do with torrents/p2p so don't ask about that!
