Plot

Episode Title: Episode 276.
Murders, explosions, rape, weddings, bribery and corruption: The Bill
has no compunction about stuffing them all into just one episode. And
we get a bumper bundle of storylines this week. In yesterday's episode
we were due to see Sun Hill's first gay wedding but, naturally, the
course of true love never runs smooth. Poor old PC Lance Powell (Ofo
Uhiara) was kidnapped by his Christian friends, who were determined to
stop the wedding and "cure" Lance of his homosexuality. As if that's
not enough excitement, tonight sees matters getting out of hand at St
Hugh's hospital, where a woman is protesting about her embryos "being
held to ransom". Knives are pulled, a police officer is gagged and
handcuffed, two "protestors" try to spring their bail-jumping father
who's in hospital following a drink-driving crash, and one of Sun
Hill's finest finds themselves staring at the wrong end of the gun.
