Description:
More commonly associated with teenage girls, cases of
anorexia and bulimia among older women are on the rise.
This documentary examines the stories of four housewives,
whose seemingly comfortable lives are plagued by a
constant struggle against their eating disorders. Among
those highlighted are a woman in her early 50s with the
bone density of a 92-year-old, a 36-year-old who has
turned to cognitive behavioural therapy, and a bulimic
mother who spends her nights binging and vomiting in
secret.
