RERiP Notes

Warner Home Video replaced two discs from the box set due to missing episode content
on two episodes. Additionally, they created a small feature containing the "Villain
Teasers" normally seen at the end of the episodes, but were missing from some episodes
in seasons 1 and 2. They also secured the rights to a few more promotional teasers, and
decided to include them on the replacement discs.

This rerip provides a rarely-heard voiceover at the beginning of the episode.

Notes

It's so rare these days that shows such as this are left unreleased on retail media.
We've become spoiled by having seasons on DVD and BluRay the day after the finale,
so sometimes we need to reflect on what actually goes into bringing older shows to
home media so the next generation can enjoy it too.

Batman is one of those shows that brings up memories for lots of people. Some watched
it during the 60's when it was airing, otherw watched reruns on late night TV, and
still others will watch these new discs for the first time.  We're providing these
for your viewing pleasure, and hopefully a few new Batman fans will find this!

We encourage everybody reading this to consider buying the set if you haven't done so
already. The work that went into releasing this show to the home deserves to be
recognized. Without continued support, rights owners may sit on their shows for
decades unless people buy them.

Tl;dr Batman is awesome, buy that shit.

Summary

The Riddler leaves a clue at a Moldavian reception at the Gotham City World's Fair.
Batman and Robin are summoned and are on the villain's trail. But he tricks them;
the heroes think he's committing a robbery with a handgun. In reality, the gun is a
cigarette lighter (the answer to one of the Riddler's riddles). Now, the villain is
suing Batman, where he will be forced to reveal his true identity in court. The
heroes, still convinced the Riddler is planning a major crime, travel to a
discotheque. There, Batman is drugged by Molly, one of the Riddler's confederates,
while Robin is kidnapped. Robin appears to be in great danger as the episode ends.
