Jacques Tati made this in 1953. In 1962
and later, in 1978, he re-edited it,
cut some shots out, lengthened a few
others, reorchestrated the score and
remixed the sound. This version was also
subject of a heavy restoration so it
looks a lot better and it is 10 min
shorter.
